Full course description
Ages 16 and up. Space is limited.
Join artists Troy Abbott and Enrique Gomez de Molina, along with educators and curators from the University of Wyoming Art Museum, for this workshop investigating fun animal forms.
Participants will choose from a variety of (stuffed) animal forms and recreate their own fantastic creature, inspired by the exhibition "(re)Evolution." Once your fantastic creatures are finished, we encourage experimenting with low-tech video tools to invent a new narrative or environment for your creative creatures.
No experience necessary. Participants are asked to bring a stuffed animal or figure they are willing to donate, repurpose or share with the collective group of creatives. All other materials provided.
Class meets on Saturday, October 5, from 1-5pm in the Museum Studio, which is on the ground floor of the UW Art Museum.
