Full course description

Join artist Tashi Norbu, visiting artist at the UW Art Museum, to learn how to create a painting of a Buddha according to the principles of ancient Tibetan iconography. This is a great opportunity or novice painters to learn a new skill or for more advanced practitioners to develop skills. This workshop will combine traditional Tibetan methods with modern free style, giving a unique beauty to your very own contemporary Tibetan art piece. Participants will be able to choose their preferred colors. All materials are provided. Sign up early for this low-cost workshop!

Workshop participants should be 16yrs or older.
