Full course description
The 2019 Summer Teaching Institute is a 3 Day in-person intensive that will kick off an extended two-year project.
Topics will include educational leadership, making meaning with art, discovering and honing your teaching style, reflective practices, and deep dive into the processes of teaching and learning, or action research.
Institute will include hands-on strategies to engage learners of all ages and audiences in interdisciplinary, multi-modal approaches to improve:
Credit Available: 6 total credits possible, either PTSB certification or UW Continuing Education. (UW credits are an additional $50/credit hour. All paperwork/payment for additional credits will be completed on-site.)
$150 paid at completion of Summer 2019 and $150 paid at completion of the full program in 2020.
